The Federal Government wants to hear from you about the real challenges of finding and affording business insurance in today’s market. The Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services is conducting a national inquiry into whether current insurance products are actually meeting the needs of modern businesses.
They’re looking at everything from public liability and professional indemnity to cyber risk and business interruption cover and examining how these products are priced, regulated, and accessed across different industries and regions.
This is your chance to share your experience and help shape reforms that could make insurance fairer and more practical for small and medium business enterprises. The Committee is accepting submissions from small businesses, not-for-profits, and community organisations until 6 March 2026.
If insurance costs and accessibility have been pain points for your business, find out how to make a submission here.
