You’ve been paying super quarterly for years. Nothing has gone wrong. As far as you’re concerned, it’s handled.
Here’s the problem. From 1 July 2026, the entire framework changes.
Super is no longer a quarterly obligation. Every time you pay your employees, super goes out at the same time — and it has to reach their fund within 7 business days. Miss that window by even one day and a penalty is triggered automatically. Unlike the old system, the ATO can no longer waive it.
Most small business owners don’t know this yet. And the ones who find out in June won’t have time to prepare.

In Module 1 we cover what Payday Super actually is, when it starts, and why it applies to every Australian employer regardless of industry, size, or how you currently manage your payroll. If you’re not sure whether this affects you, this module will make it clear. It does.
Module 2 gets practical. We cover the new qualifying earnings calculation, what changes for businesses that pay commissions or manage salary sacrifice, why the ATO’s free Small Business Superannuation Clearing House is closing and what your options are, and how to handle contractors whose super status you’re not certain of.
This is the module where it stops feeling abstract and starts feeling real. We work through a real small business example to show exactly what the shift from quarterly to per-pay-cycle super means in dollar terms, including the slow-paying client problem that catches many small businesses off guard.
Module 4 covers the new penalty regime in full. The Super Guarantee Charge components, the 60% administrative uplift, why the ATO can no longer waive penalties the way they could before, and the ATO’s first-year risk-based compliance approach. Real numbers, real calculations, and a clear picture of what you’re working to avoid.
The payoff module. Module 5 brings everything together into a personalised readiness checklist, a timeline of actions between now and 1 July, and the accountant conversation starter you’ll take away from this course. You finish this module knowing exactly what to do next, and prepared to do it.
📹 Five video modules Presenter-led videos with voiceover slides — approximately 60 minutes of content you can complete in one sitting or across a week. Instant access from the moment you enrol.
📄 The Payday Super Readiness Workbook A consolidated PDF workbook that builds your readiness snapshot, personal action list, and accountant conversation starter as you work through each module. Yours to keep and use beyond the course.
📋 The Accountant Conversation Starter A standalone one-page tool — built from your workbook answers — that you take directly to your next accountant meeting. Turns a general super conversation into a specific, focused, productive one.
🎯 Module Summary Cards Plain English key takeaways from each module, designed to be saved or printed. Everything you need to remember, without having to rewatch the videos.
